DAY 1: HCMC – DONG THAP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
06:00: The car and tour guide of En Viet travel company will pick you up at the meeting point. Then, we’ll depart for the Dong Thap tour by taking the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong highway, National Highway 1A, and Highway 30 and stop for breakfast at Tien Giang - Cai Be. Tourists will depart for Tam Nong district in Dong Thap to visit Tram Chim National Park - Ramsar site, which ranked 2,000th in the world and 4th in Vietnam, to:
- Experience the motorboat to discover the typical wetland ecosystem conservation area of the Dong Thap Muoi region. Listen to the information about the history of this land, birds, fish, and mammals.
- Go up to the 18-meter-high observatory to see the charming landscape of seasonal pink lotus beach interspersed with rice fields, and long fields of melaleuca.
11:30: Tourists will have lunch at a local restaurant and take a rest.
13:00: Tourists will depart for Cao Lanh City to visit:
- Tomb of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac: including Uncle Ho's stilt house, Nguyen Sinh Sac's tomb, and the ancient Hoa An Village - the site recreating the village where Nguyen Sinh Sac used to live before.
- My Phuoc Thanh ecotourism area: A place located in the middle of a vast lotus field and surrounded by rice fields where visitors can easily see Long Hau canoe and boat decorated into a unique dining table.
- Enjoy the countryside cuisine quintessence of the pink lotus land, which is arranged on extremely meticulous bamboo mats such as spring rolls in lotus pond; grilled fish with lotus bud; fried lotus root with shrimp; lotus seed; lotus leaf wrapped rice; lotus leaf detox; Southern folk cakes, etc. (expenses excluded).
17:00: Tourists will head back to the hotel, check-in, and rest.
18:00: Tourists will have dinner at a local restaurant and be free to explore Dong Thap at night.
DAY 2: DONG THAP – HCMC (Breakfast, Lunch)
07:00: Tourists will have breakfast at the hotel, and be free to visit and shop at Dong Thap market.
10:00: Tourists will check out and depart to check in at the vast lotus field, exhibiting the beautiful pink colors of the wetlands of Dong Thap Muoi (depending on the weather and seasonal conditions).
11:30: Tourists will have lunch at a local restaurant and take a rest. Then, we’ll continue to get back to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way, we’ll drop by a rest stop, and then we’ll continue the journey.
17:00: After arriving in Ho Chi Minh City, the tourist group will end the journey to visit Dong Thap for 2 days and 1 night. We hope to see you in other tour programs.
