The evening before the first day: HCMC – Chau Doc
22h30: The car and guide of En Viet Travel Company will pick you up at the meeting point, and start to the journey for 2 days and 2 nights. Tourists will rest in the car.
Day 1: Chau Doc – Dong Thap (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
03h00: When we arrive in Chau Doc, we will start to visit:
- Ba Chua Xu Temple: You will come to visit Ba Chua Xu to burn incense, and pray for blessings and peace for your family and loved ones. The Ba Chua Xu Temple Festival, which was recognized as a national festival in 2001, takes place here every year on April 23 - 27.
- Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb: Also known as Son Lang. This is a national historical relic and a scenic spot with feudal architecture.
- Tay An Pagoda: Also known as the Buddhist monk Tay An - founder of the first indigenous Buu Son Ky Huong sect in An Giang.
04h30: Tourists will depart Long Xuyen city to visit the floating market, which is one of the famous floating markets in southwest Vietnam. Although Long Xuyen floating market is not as crowded as Cai Rang or Cai Be floating market, it still has a familiar ambiance of An Giang. Visitors coming here will never forget the sweetness and sincerity of the people on the Mekong River.
06h00: Tourists will have breakfast at a local restaurant, relax, rest, and continue the journey.
07h00: Tourists will depart for Tam Nong district in Dong Thap to visit Tram Chim National Park - Ramsar site, which ranked 2,000th in the world and 4th in Vietnam, to:
- Experience the motorboat to discover the typical wetland ecosystem conservation area of the Dong Thap Muoi region. Listen to the information about the history of this land, birds, fish, and mammals.
- Go up to the 18-meter-high observatory to see the charming landscape of seasonal pink lotus beach interspersed with rice fields, and long fields of melaleuca.
11h00: Tourists will have lunch at a local restaurant, rest, and relax on the spot.
13h00: Tourists will arrive at the hotel, check-in, rest, and be free to go around.
18h00: Tourists will have dinner at a local restaurant, and be free to explore Dong Thap at night.
Day 2: Dong Thap – HCMC (Breakfast, Lunch)
07h00: Tourists will have breakfast at the hotel, be free to explore, and shop in Dong Thap.
09h30: Tourists will check out, and depart to visit the Tomb of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac, including Uncle Ho's stilt house, the Tomb of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac, and the old Hoa An Village - the place that recreates the village where Nguyen Sinh Sac used to live before.
11h00: Tourists will have lunch at a local restaurant, rest, relax, and continue the journey. The group will get in the car and head back to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way, we’ll drop by a stopping place.
17h00: Tourists will arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, and finish the journey to visit Chau Doc - Dong Thap for 02 days and 02 nights. See you in the following programs.
